Get the screen working through demo mode, no sound whatsoever, wont respond to any buttonsĬlean again, press switch 2 on the dipswitch i suppose, and get an options menu, but the screen flickering again.
First there is nothing on the screen just flickering, however it says 'good Morning' as the only sound i've heard from the game so far. i will fiddle around some more with those 2 switches and just cleaning and making sure its all connected properly It doesnt seem to have a option or a freeze screen no matter what i do with the switches. So i cleaned the contacts again, plugged it in, and now it just goes through demo mode saying GAME OVER, responding to not a single thing whatsoever. Hi, the two switches have numbers 1 and 2 labeled underneath them, they were both switched 'up' i switched number 2 'down' and turned it on and got some sort of options menu but the screen was flickering about! Perhaps there's a setting in there that you can adjust, like enabling free play or demo sounds etc. You need to have the right one flicked on during powering on, so you have a 50/50 chance of getting the right one first time round. You mention 2 dip switches, one of them should get you into an options screen. do i need a kick harness for all the buttons/game to work, it looks like its in demo mode and if it would somehow get a credit it would have sound and stuff i also bought x-men vs street fighter for the CPS2 from the seller, plugged it in and it had no sound, however once i put in a credit it had sound, which i could adjust with ease on the CPS2 motherboard etc.īottom line, how on earth do i adjust settings on the tekken 2 PCB, it has like 2 dip switches which do nothing. now its the opposite, none of the buttons are detecting to the game or anything like that How on earth do you get the volume? i had it before for like a split second but that was when i had no picture. even when i press the free play button, put in a coin, nothing is giving me a credit, it's just completely silent and going through demo mode. Turned it off, took it out, cleaned the contacts, there are two other boards that are seated on top of these pins which i slightly jiggled about, plugged it back in and turned it on and the game works! it cycles through 'demo mode' but it wont do anything. The monitor was just flickering and scrolling with lines, couldnt get the proper picture.
Plugged it in, and heard the words ' Good-Morning' (It sounded like the announcers voice, the one who says K.O etc) Hi everyone, my tekken 2 PCB i bought off eBay arrived today (they said 100% working)
